Name:Hasala Indika Dharmawardena country:SriLanka Race(born into):Sinhala Religion(born into):Buddhism Town:Colombo(dehiwala) Am interested in Foss software development and specially in the game wesnoth. and presently working on developing a campaign for that. get wesnoth from www.wesnoth.org I am a avid enthusiast in linux and presently use suse(openSUSE 10.3) linux ( suse because it has a good set of drivers,i have used ubuntu,redhat,fedora,knoppix but all these had driver problems(specially modem and printer) ).I believe that it is not a good thing to use pirated software except for educational purposes. I love nature(and the tranquillity associated with it) and try to visit forest reserves at my rest time. Am a green friend and a strong supporter of the concept of sustainable development and the 3R's concept(Recycle ,Reduce,Reuse). politically i believe that pure socialism or communism is the panacea to the ills of mankind(though this is unattainable).selflessness is the cure of all ills. capitalism breeds selfishness ,and selfishness is the root of all the ills that humanity is facing. On sundays i teach at a sunday school and do that regularly as a social service. I am presently a member of EESOc (Electrical engineering society) of our University. and also of the mathematical club. hope to become a member of the Sinhala Cultural society in the near future.
